Coach Andy Hines will enter his 2nd year as the Evansville Crush after replacing Coach Dave Roesh in mid year due to the resignations. In the 2010-2011 year Hines led the Crush team to Nationals with an 11-6-1 record and to a runner-up place in the Midwest division of the league. Evansville also notched a place in the Open Cup Tournament under Coach Hines. This season has also recorded some playing time with the Crush, netting two goals in the Hoosier Cup this year. Coach Hines has numerous coaching licenses. He has coach boys high school soccer for North Posey, Frankfort High School and Evansville Central where he won a secional championship. Coach Hines was an assistant for Oakland City University and is a former SWISA Travel Coach. Coach Hines brings a passion and love to the game. He hsd one son Kohen Hines who someday will be a Crush player.
Andy Hines comes to Evansville from Frankfort, Indiana . Now a long time resident of Evansville, Andy is a true passionate soccer fan and Coach. Andy is one of the owners along with the Metro Sports Center Group. Andy has had a successful coaching career coaching college, High School and Travel around the Tri-State. Hines is the former Evansville Crush Coach who led the team to Nationals in their first year in the PASL. Andy is currently coaching North Posey High School Soccer. Entering his second year as General Manager for the Crush Andy looks to help establish fun entertainment for Evansville. Andy has one son Kohen that he looks forward to seeing him play the game someday. Andy provides management and operational expertise for the Crush many programs.
The Evansville Crush is a Semi-professional soccer team, which participates in the Premier Arena Soccer League ( PASL). Evansville Crush seeks to provide quality soccer matches and a family friendly environment at Metro Sports Center in Evansville, Indiana . The team is comprised of high-level players holding amateur playing status. Evansville Crush serves to develop players and a showcase for professional coaches.
