EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Evansville Crush, a local semi-professional PASL indoor soccer team, will take on the Springfield Demize Saturday for their final home match of the regular season. Kick off is set for 8 p.m. at Metro Sports Center in Evansville.
The Crush will welcome back Adem “Boozle” Ali to the squad. Ali was the team’s top scorer last season and has not been available to play previously this year.
“We knew Adem wouldn’t be able to play much this season, but we kept him on the roster, hoping we would,” Crush Head Coach and General Manager Andy Hines said. “We’re happy to have him back and hope to have a solid game Saturday.”
Evansville has struggled in their second season as they have not had a full squad, but Hines said they continue to fight hard and learn from each match they play.
“Saturday’s our last home game and we definitely want a strong showing for all the fans who have supported us through the tough season,” he added.
Tickets for the match are $5 at the door. Crush T-shirts will also be available for $5 each and tall boys will be $1.50 all night. Come out and support your Evansville Crush
